Here is the translation of the pitch:

After studying crime statistics and seeing that many of you don’t seem to care about human life any more than we do, we see you as a perfect fit for the DDC
We were told by Mr Gadhan that many of you agree with us that any type of enjoyment or “fun” is haraam. We have been told of the countless hours of declaring any food that tastes good to be haraam and how you would show up at “fun” events in “protest” to show that you are NOT having fun. This is great my brothers!
We encourage you to stop taking care of responsibilities that are right around you and take up our insane cause - of which we are not exactly sure what it is other than random killing.
We say to you: continue to neglect your families and communities and make your own personal condition worse.
We say to you: continue to pontificate for hours over some good coffee about how righteous you are, how unrighteous the rest of the world is and the latest bizzare conspiracy theory while your wife and kids don’t see you. Tell them that you are “working for the deen!” and that they are “ungrateful”.
We say to you: it is OK, if your children grow up to be a dumb as a box of rocks. In fact it is something good. Brag to the world about how isolated and ignorant they are because you were busy talking about our bloodletting and such things over coffee! They will be proud to have a Dad like you that stood up for “noble” throats-cutters and rapists like us.
I must now envoke, Malcolm X in this speech somewhere to really get you excited, and for good measure I will mention this man Jim Crow and slavery - although I would like to take your sisters and cousins as slaves.

Very disgusting, no wonder why the majority of educated blacks detest Islam and the Muslims and the preachers are fighting hard to keep new masjids from being built in black communities.
I personally think that this will just make matters worse for blacks in America. The focus has sort of died down on them since 911 but now that it is Ok to openly hate again in America as seen by the way Muslims are being sigled out, then it will soon be Ok to start lyching negroes again. What better reason then to link them with terrorist. Now they can kill two birds with one stone.
Blacks traveling overseas has never been a threat, partially because well many don’t. Now the few that do will get a double whammy. Just the thought makes me sick. I remember leaving the U.S shortly after 911 and saw the look of terror in the other passengers eyes as I boarded the flight in all black and niqab. I tried to smile at them and even take my daughter with me to the bathroom so they would not be alarmed when I got up. I always try to put myself in other peoples shoes and I knew that they were scared. I did this in college too, when I could see white folks get paranoid when a group of us (blacks) walked passed. I always tried to make everyone feel comfortable. I’m tired of being the ‘good N-Word’! I’m tired of proving how all Muslims aren’t terrorist!

Nothing can stop a person from converting once the truth has been establish, INCLUDING our (Muslims in general) disgusting behavior. I am a living “testimony” to that. After divorcing my husband because of my conversation and marrying a scumbag (and I’m being nice), and dealing with trifling Muslims on and offline, I haven’t left Islam. If it were that simple, I can honestly, and sadly say, NO ONE would convert to Islam. Even after 9/11 folks are still coming into Islam.
Do you know the other day an Arab brother told me the reason why the Muslim world doesn’t care about Darfur is because Arabs have too muchon their plate and that’s a BLACK ISSUE….I thought it was a Muslim issue…a human rights issue!

I can give you a ton of examples of blacks negative experiences with Muslims of all ethnicites, including my own. No, these are not blacks from inner cities, but professional men and women who are doctors, lawyers, business owners. Better yet, just visit several black message boards and read for yourself about black interaction with our brothers and sisters…SHAMEFUL but doesn’t stop anyone from converting…All blacks are aware Arabs raped our women just as much as the white man did and enslaved us, yet as Muslims we tend to deny this aspect. WE pretend our brothers and sisters are color blind, pious, loving, honest, and possess such qualities as integrity, candor…

I shelter homeless sisters ALL THE TIME, even when my husband is in the country. I pay bills, provide food, and other assistance to those in need on a regular basis. I also act as a foster mother. There is no need to for me to speak of the things I do for anyone because it’s not about that. When I find myself unable to assist you best believe I have a contact who is able to assist that person. Take for example Darfur, what you don’t know is that Darfurians have among them the single most memorizers of Quran in all the African continent. Look at what America did to Iraq, dividing it along ethnic and sectarian lines. Look at what the French did to Lebanon, carving it out of the predominantly Sunni-Muslim Levant (Bilaad ash-Shaam), building a new country inside a ‘Syrian’ garden without a desert, setting up a Maronite Christian on top, calling the country after the Lebanon Mountains, the home of the Maronites (AND the Druze, but who cares about the Druze, they aren’t Christians..), and THEN adding to the Christian Lebanese state the surrounding Muslim areas with the main cities of Beirut (majority Sunni), Tripoli (majoristy Sunni) and Sidon (also majority Sunni), all three of which today are the only major cities of Lebanon, without which there would be REALLY no Lebanon -btw, the Lebanese flag was just like the French one with the Cedar in the center, then they just moved the stripes around and changed the color of one from blue to red!
Look what they did in my homeland, bringing Khazar-Tatar Jews who never saw Palestine..to it, uprooting my people, and now they’re planting fake Indian and Ethiopian Jews instead of the original inhabitants.

Right now, whether you’re Arab or not, Muslim or not, most of the creation of Allah are ill-mannered and have some wickedness in them. That’s how it always was, but your knowledge is shallow. One third of Madinah and the Prophet’s armies were made of hypocrites. After the Prophet’s passing all the Arabs left Islam again except for Makkah, Madinah and Ta’if!!! People don’t like rules, don’t like duties, don’t like giving away money for zakaat, don’t like fighting for the sake of Allah. They are tested, and many have other intentions when they do it. We learn about hidden shirk, about those who seek martyrdom so that it’s said after him that he was a ‘hero’, and the other gives away money so that he’s viewed as a ‘generous’ person, etc etc. People, and Allah tells us this in the Quran, if you were to follow most of them in this earth, they would misguide you.
I lived half of my life in an Arab Gulf state, I know what it’s like growing up around Muslims, attending the mosque several times aday, listening to khutbahs in the language of the Quran, and YET not learn much either from the school or the masjid, only what I could read on my own!!!
How many like to open books to read on halal and haram, proper adab and etiquettes, etc etc? They are millions among the Arabs, but they are very few. And still many among the religious would harbor jealousy to even fellows of the same path (I experienced that myself from some), others would pray and give zakaat and cry from hearing the Quran, but they wouldn’t be nice to relatives, crasy in their treatment to their kids, and we remember the Prophet when he was told about the woman who does all kinds of worship but is being cruel and nasty to her neighbours, he said: she’s in the Fire (i.e., will be punished).
Do you know the hadith (I assume you don’t, you don’t seem like to be reading much Islam anymore, thanks to the internet) of when the Prophet says that a Muslim REMAINS in a state of ***iman*** even when he’ll have just committed zina or an act of theft??? Shocking, eh? But he’s not a mu’min when he lies..
and similarly when he swears, or disrespects a fellow human being.
You harbor such disgust toward immigrant Muslims. You forgot the backgrounds they came from. They didn’t have time to stop and think about lots of things like you do in the West. Individualism in the West helped you people focus so much on yourselves, to know yourselves, and others. Over there its packed all the time, at home, in the building where you live, in the alley / your street, in the masjid, you almost rarely get ‘time off’ to stop and think about yourself, let alone about your Hereafter!!! The very lucky are those who do. Remember that the Prophet would have to go to a cave away from Makkah just to ‘contemplate’!!! Our societies there exercise tremendous, heavy pressure on us to conform to their ways, be them right or wrong (but Allah says that most people would deviate you from His Way).

If they knew better than what they do already, you think they’d continue with their ways that you hate and I hate??? Stop making fun of them, becaue you don’t know, Allah would take away from you the ni3mah of guidance and grant it to them. Most come with many kids, they panic to provide for them, and we are told in Islam that there are sins which are only forgiven by you going out to seek to provide for your kids and wives!!!!
They may be more punctual than you on prayers, and don’t commit major sins, and the 5 daily prayers cleanse the bad deeds done between them as long as they aren’t major ones!!! Talking badly about someone else doesn’t make one sub-animal, it makes him a follower of Satanic footsteps, however temporarily, and there were many among the Muslim scholars who harshly criticized each other, and some of their students were fanatic enough to even hit other major scholars (like students of Imam Malik did to Imam Shafi’i, due to jealousy only on their madhab and out of fearing of it going extinct)!!

I think they didn’t read enough on their new religion. I’m amazed by their level of ignorance of Quran and hadith and akhlaq of the Muslims. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: “the wisest among people is him who excuses them the most”. They haven’t thought enough about what they say about Arabs back in the Arab world or who they take the news from!!! My statement about Berber language wasn’t self-explanatory, and you can’t expect me to write such long posts and to be able to elaborate on everything I say or explain it well. I do try but I can’t do that from the first time always. Hence I explain: I meant to say that they are arousing nationalistic Berber sentiments only to make the Berbers break away from their larger countries, be them Morocco or Algeria or others. Of course Berbers were their first, it’s their land, and I hold any Arabist attempt to wipe out their existence or language as something contradictory to Islam and human values. I can easily put myself in a Berber’s shoes and despite how dear and grateful I’d feel toward Arabs, I want them to give me the right to speak my mother language if I chose to, and not to force Arabic down my throat (though, I don’t think a real Muslim would mind replacing his mother language with Arabic, and I know many did so, even in the Berber North Africa where now you can’t tell who’s Berber from the Arab, they both look the same, something that perplexed the first Arab conquerers until they’d write about the possible Arab origin of the Berbers, being from Yemen and Oman, like even some Berbers would say -and there are books in Arabic that I’m to buy soon inshallah that will detail this theory. Anyways, I am with teaching Tmazight (the language of Berbers, who call themselves Amazighis in their language, ‘berber’ being from the Greek), but I can’t support them wanting to write it in other than the Arabic script. With all due respect, but I don’t know what are those symbols they are using to write their language with:

Now I really can’t support these symbols which seem to have come from outer space, not necessarily becaue they look so funny -and I don’t mean to offend them, for I have met Berbers who themselves admit they aren’t proud of their language, how it sounds or the script it’s written with- but becaue..nothing compares to Arabic, the language and the script. Who would reject it but on purely ethnic, nationalistic grounds? Westerners don’t arouse Berber nationalist sentiments for their eyes’ sake, but to add to the divisiveness they created in the ummah, starting with the Christian Arabs who first called for Arab nationalism (to arouse Arabs againsd the Ottoman state that was Turkish in the heart), and now with the Christian Zionists, be them in Europe or North America, who under the guise of cultural diversity and respect not only do they arouse these sentiments but they are also spreading Christianity among them like in the Kabyle region in eastern Algeria!
I do not mind bringing to the Berber’s attention the idea of keeping their language alive, but I have all the rights to doubt the motives of an outsider pushing for that or initiating it. Indeed, in an age where natinalism has gone rampant all over the world, a disease that started from Europe, there is no escape for that. And IF the Berbers where to break away into seperate states, I won’t mind, they have the right to, being an ethnic and lignuistic group of their own, like the Kurds. I’m not against an independent Kurdistan. If Arabs can have not only one country but so many, then every other people should, or it would be very hypocritical. But then, I’d have to demand that we Arabs be given the right to determine if we all want to unite in one country or not, something I know for sure the Western powers wouldn’t allow (just like France acted against the union between Libya and Chad in the 1970’s, and the union of Egypt and Syria in the late 1960’s).
Trust me, Mr. Omar, I wouldn’t contradict myself or my religion, or forgot that I’m a descended of a wronged people (Palestinians), so I won’t wrong other peoples. I’m too aware to commit such a foolish, disgraceful, outrageous mistake. I am thoughtful and I feel for all other peoples, something I’ve seen rarely on the blogs of my revert brothers and sisters.

Bint Will, I support you a 100% in your efforts. I agree, it amazes me that people are converting post-9/11, post all the madness that is going on. I have seen people do amazing things in our communities, but the Muslim American community is largely complacent. I have seen stats on our low levels of charitable giving (let us remember that our zakat is 2 1/2 percent of our profits compared to 10% of earnings of the tithe) and volunteerism. The Muslim American community forgets that many of the housewives in America are active participants in their community doing volunteer and community work. I think 10% of the people do 100% of the work. The rest of us are really lazy and complain.
On the strength, as much as I respect Arab culture, Berber cultures, Saharan cultures, African cultures, I am glad to be American and I have no desire to try to shed my identity in hopes of becoming their ‘Abid.

This is a similar tactic that White Americans used against Black Americans who struggled for their freedom and challenged White Supremacy for over 400 years. It is especially the case when Black thinkers and activists challenged racist ideas and ideologies such as Social Darwinism. Black activists were considered radicals for resisting attempts by liberal whites to put them in their proper place. Because leaders like Malcolm X challenged paternalism which infintalized us as a community, they became “Dangerous Negroes.” I’d rather make you uncomfortable by sending you back to the drawing board to rethink your pressupositions about Black Americans and Africans then let you (or Arabs, Desis, or White Americans ) think that I (or others like me) should be on the bottom of some social totem pole because of the color of my skin.

This message looks like disinformation on the behalf of a western intelligence agency. I have translated some of the bin Laden speeches. I have also monitored the media from As-Sahab intensively for several years. Muslims need to be very careful about what information they carry to others we will be questioned about misledding people. Al-Qaeda and the Taliban have failed to communicate clearly with the west for a long time.
Prior to the US invasion Wakil Abdul Muttawakil was the formal Ambassador of the Taliban to the world. Br. Wakil was chosen for his ability to speak english although he barely spoke the language. Al-Qaeda as well as the Taliban are not wackos or lunatics. Anyone who states such ignorance is obviously not very well informed about the situation. The Taliban never violated Islamic law by asking Bush for evidence to convict bin Laden with. Bush has never given up such evidence only relying upon poorly interpetted statements from bin Laden regarding 9-11.
For the Arabic speakers who have listened to any of this material they would hear him say “shabab” (youths) or ikhwan “brothers” when he reffered to the 9-11 hijackers. Linguistically, America has a very poor case against Mr. bin Laden because all Muslims can reffer to each other as brothers. Elders who speak Arabic often call younger men “shabab” (youths). Using this logic Bush had something to do with Timothy McVeigh because his statements involved the term “Americans” which would make 400,000 ppl guilty as well. Striaght up ignorance…
Furthermore, Since November 11, 2004 bin Laden and all Taliban officials have not made any threats to American civilians. On the contrary they have begun to issue many statements asking Americans to learn more about Islam. Bin Laden himself has stated on numerous occassions to Al-Jazeera and other media that America is destroying itself by corporate greed. Later asking Americans themselves to begin to think of changing their own society from a grass roots level if the establish was unwilling to do so.

Brother Tariq, I seem to enjoy reading your work, but when I came across this at the MANA website I read it with disgust. It sounded as if a Right Wing Bill O’Reilly type character wrote it.
I think that in posting something like this, WE Muslims are actually saying there are actual ‘terrorists’ out there that really wanna recruit Black Muslims as soon as they convert. This is completely false, I know of many majority Immigrant Muslims or 2nd generations Muslims that speak about Palestine or Iraq etc to new converts, but none of them wish to have this new Black Muslim go do something stupid. Most of the Black’s that convert and hear brothers speak about their homeland like that are interested and are getting better educated instead of thinking that people over there “are crazy carrying around guns” for no reason.
This is all I have to say. If it was a joke, please forgive me I did not know.
